CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND GENERATE AN APP KEY

The purpose of this document is to help you start using the Skylink SDKs for Web, Android, and iOS.

To use Skylink SDKs, you’ll need a Skylink account and an app key that is required to connect to our servers and user our features.

Then you’ll be able to use our world-class SDKs to add video, audio, chat, and screen-sharing to your mobile applications and web sites.

The first step to getting started is to create an account on the Skylink Console.

If you haven’t registered with Skylink, then please click the Register button.

If you’re a registered user then you can log in with your username and password.

Step 2: Register and then Log In with your Username and Password

In the Register window enter your personal details and a password.

Click the Register button.

You’ll get a message saying that your registration confirmation email has been sent.

Check your email and click the Activate my account button in the confirmation email.

You’ll get a message that your account has been activated and you’ll be prompted to log in with your username and password.

Step 3: Create an App

Click the Add App button to get started.

Click the Get Started button to continue getting started.

Step 4: Select the Platforms and Payment Plan you Want to Use

Enter the name of your App in the space provided.

Click a platform to select that platform. You can select multiple platforms. A selected platform is surrounded with a light blue color.

Click the Next button.

Step 5: Select your Plan: Basic or Pro

Choose whether you would like the Basic or Pro payment plan. Remember that you get 30-days free to sample the SDKs.

Step 6: Enter Credit Card Information or Accept 30-days Trial

Enter your credit card information. Prove that you are not a robot and then click Add Credit Card. Remember that you can continue without adding a credit card and accept a 30-days trial.

Step 8: View your App Keys

Click the View Keys button to view your app keys. Remember that you app keys are private and you should not share them with anyone.
